Being an NPC is losing your faith in beyond.

Belief in beyond means you can be an agent of God, that you can interact with him, that you can receive guidance from him and act according to his will. When you interact with him, he's going to make you better or at the end, when everything ends, you'll be the self that has become Self.

You can be a hand or an eye to him.

If you lose faith and act as if nothing matters, nothing is meaningful, your guidance will cease and you'll become a non-player. You'll only live as if nothing matters and nothing will matter.

When you have faith he acts in unpredictable ways. You make yourself an actual by letting your will be united with God's. -- Be open to God's intervention and power in your life.
