People think with the tools they have in their hands.

For soldiers these tools are weapons, for politicians tools are popularity and the game of democracy, for writers these are ideas and text.

You can't expect a soldier to act like a writer or a politician. He doesn't know how to use their tools. You can't expect a person that tries to find the truth by religious scripture to go on with indefinite experiments about it. Their only tool for the truth is the scripture.

This is why revolutions can be can only be done by certain kind of people. Others don't have positions or social tools to overcome the establishment.
